Big Idea: We should pray for the Father to keep us in Jesus Christ so that we will not fall away.
Keep us from what?
- The world and it’s difficulties? NO. John 17:15, 15:18-20, 16:33; Matthew 10:28.
- The Evil One? YES. John 17:15, 14:30, 12:31, 16:11; Revelation 20:7-10.
- Falling away? YES. John 17:12, 18:8-9. On Judas: John 6:60-71, 13:11-18.
How are we kept?
- The Word of God. John 17:6-8, 16:1, 17:17; Hebrews 2:1–4, 3:7–4:13, 5:11–6:12, 10:19–39, 12:1–29; 2 Timothy 3:16.

In what is our security?

Invitation:
- Pray for keeps – pray for the Father to keep you in Jesus Christ so that you will not fall away.
- Pray the same for other members of your congregation.
- Pray to stay diligent in the Word of God and in the fellowship of believers.
