Chronological Study Bible Info

Exciting News! We are going to be reading the Bible together this year in chronological order!

Here is what you need to know:

The plan: “Read the Bible for Life – Chronological Plan” developed by George Guthrie based on his Day by Day Chronological Bible.
The start: Monday, January 6th will be our first reading day. It is designed as a six-day reading plan to give us a break on Sundays.

Here is what you need to do:

Purchase the Day by Day Chronological Bible. Of course this is optional, but this is an easy way to do it. It is arranged according to the reading plan with some notes and questions for reflection and space even to write. With this you can read straight through without jumping around in the Bible. You can find it here at Amazon, or anywhere you normally purchase Bibles. If you cannot afford one, please contact Whites Run Baptist Church as some have been donated to help.
Download the app. This is also optional. Instead of scrolling through useless social media, do your reading! The YouVersion Bible app is for Apple, Android, or Kindle Fire.
- Find it here or search for it in your app store. (It’s the one with the red “Holy Bible” icon.) This way you can read on the go – no excuses!

- In the app, search reading plans for “Reading God’s Story: One-Year Chronological Plan.” (It’s the one with the mountain landscape image. Be careful – there are other chronological plans.)
Download the reading plan. Linked here is a pdf file of the reading plan that you can save or print.
Join the online discussion. Here is a facebook discussion group to join called “2025 WRBA Chronological Bible Study.”
- Turn on notifications for the group.
- Visit it frequently to gain insights, ask questions, and discuss what we are reading.
Attend an in-person discussion:
- Wednesdays, 6:30 PM at Whites Run Baptist Church
- More in-person sessions may be announced so check back here or in the Facebook discussion group.
