Today’s Point: By referring to himself as “The Son of Man,” Jesus draws on the rich imagery of Daniel 7 to describe his identity, his authority, and his mission.

The Son of Man
- Salvation
- The Son of Man brings salvation from the enemies of the people of God. Daniel 7:11-14, 21-22, 27.

- Jesus connects the salvation he provides and his eventual victory to the suffering he faces.
